The National Council of Sports has welcomed UTTA’s decision. General Secretary Dr Bernard Patrick Ogwel encouraged federations to utilise Hoima City Stadium and similar facilities across the country.
Dr Ogwel noted that government investment in sports infrastructure was intended to serve all regions. He stressed that federations now have a responsibility to activate these venues through regular competition. According to him, spreading events beyond Kampala is key to sustainable development.
